I warned you it would be Dreadful.

Stupid Matt has a stupid contest for his stupid comic so here it is, stupid.

Option 1:
One to three pages that you write and Matt draws. Feel free to make your script as serious or funny as you want, but it must be Dreadful. One script will be selected and the comic will be posted between Chapters 5 and 6.

Option 2:
One page that you compose. Art, writing, all that junk. Any art style will be accepted (even sprites which are so stupid). These comics don’t have to be Dreadful related, but ones that are have a much higher chance of being selected. Up to four comics will be selected and will be posted between Chapters 5 and 6.

Please Email your submissions to: matts_1104@yahoo.com

The deadline is May 25th!

A Dreadful Contest

Looks like Matt wants to run some kinda guest comic contest for The Dreadful. Details will be posted Monday afternoon. Stay tuned or drop dead.

Do not drop dead.

Meanwhile: looks like we’re gearing up for Nuka Break Season Two.

Legendary Art

I talked about Legend before. Last week I helped to play test a new, quicker and crazier edition of the Legend rules with the game’s creator. In twenty minutes I went from loser with no character to some kind of super sentai missile sniper ninja. Cyborg. Also there was a jetbike. And it all fit on like half a page!

These are smart guys and they’re going to do some weird (but good) things in the industry. They’re running a Kickstarter to fund up some radical art. It’s down to the last three days, so this is your last chance to score some of those sweet rewards by helping out.

My favorite is the one that specifically dis-includes the thank you note. Trust me, having seen the handwriting in question, it really is a gift to not get one.

Looks like I’m writing a novel

Details within.

Short version: toss $10 at the Kickstarter and get every ebook funded by it. Currently that’s a pulp adventure dinosaur invasion trilogy, my book, and a fifth one on the way.

Stay Tuned

If I were you, and not a day goes by I don’t thank God I ain’t, but if I were, I’d expect to see new pages of The Dreadful starting Monday. Matt’s got something special planned.

Meanwhile, don’t forget about Superexplosive.com. First two chapters of the first story are now online.
